My name is Vincent Anthony Amendola. I was born in New Jersey in an interesting town called West Orange. We didn't have waves there. But what we did have was our drive to want to discover and explore. I've always loved the ocean since I was a kid and we would always be at my cousins shore house in Ocean Beach, New Jersey.

When I was 23 I decided to move out to California and move in with my oldest sister! I am so ever grateful and thankful to the Lord for this move! Here in California I discovered something new that was not big on the east coast and that was BODYSURFING! I started bodysurfing on and off about 2 years after moving to California. It wasn't too long before I started making friends, and the greatest friends I've made here I've encountered upon my journey bodysurfing. Isn't that lovely! The ocean somehow brings those who share the same love for her together

It wasn't until about a year ago when I began meeting many talented photogs in the water. They are truly great brothers and sisters, and have taken many RAD pictures of me bodysurfing. I still am meeting many great people as I continue my journey bodysurfing the shore pound and swimming through the depths of the big blue.

Bodysurfing truly brings me peace, love, comfort, happiness, harmony, joy, and has humbled me in many ways. I'll continue to bodysurf for as long as I can! So I am on my way, a journey of itself, a journey discovering likeminded people, a journey to have fun, a journey to encounter the mysterious the unknown whatever that may be. And I love it that way cause that's what makes the journey that much better, not knowing what you'll discover.
