I live in Newport Beach, California and I like how you can always find good waves somewhere. I enjoy any form of wave riding and I'm always looking for the biggest and widest barrel. I also like to play soccer outside of surfing but if I had a choice of what I wanted to do, surfing would always be at the top of the list no matter how bad the waves are. My favorite local spot is The Wedge. Sandy's Beach in Hawaii could compete but that's unfortunately not too local. Other local spots that I enjoy going to include Laguna and El Morro. My dream spot that I would love to go to would have to either be Keiki Shorebreak, Hawaii or Marine Street, San Diego. I find bodysurfing inspiring because it's an extremely fun way to connect with nature and the feeling of getting barreled is what keeps dragging me back to the beach whenever I have the chance. I also love wave photography because I am able to capture my favorite moments at my favorite place and share them with people who might never get to experience it. At The Wedge, bodysurfers are usually respected but it always depends on how known your name is and how much experience you have. I personally don't like that but you will always end up having an awesome time as long as you know what you're doing. When I grow up, one of my main goals is to live near the beach.
